The Elizabeth O'Neill Journalism Award has been given to the Indonesian journalist Meutya Hafid. Hafid is the reporter and anchorwoman for the Jakarta-based Metro TV. The award honours O'Neill's efforts in building links between Australia and the Indonesian media.
