Morgan, I like, other journalists, was always following your footsteps whether it was down to Canberra or covering State politics or just following up on another story that you broke.
We envied your ability to break the really big stories without even raising a sweat.
About the only thing I wasn't going to follow was your musical taste.
I remember vividly you showing me proudly your new Ipod on a coach trip down to Canberra to cover the budget.
It only had one type of music on it - Hard Rock.
When I suggested something from left field you looked at me with a mystified look,as if to say: "Why would I want to listen to anything else but rock ?"
You followed that up some month later by regaling me about the hard night you'd had seeing a gig by Velvet Revolver - "That was the most awesome gig I have ever seen.
"I'll miss your sense of enthusiasm and your ability to remind us that there was more to life than just work.
Cheers
