RMs plonked on the desk divider

Morgan,
I’ll always think of you with your RMs plonked on the desk divider between us at the SMH, regaling the business desk with a yarn and a big smile.
You were confidant but also self-deprecating, even when you told us the story behind HMS Mellish.
You were a top journalist, respected by your peers.
You wore your heart on your sleeve; you were passionate about Valiants, sailing, surfing and living life to the full.
You spoke always of your family and you were clearly very close to them, and that was also evident by your efforts to spend weekends with them.
You always made time for people – even when you were at your busiest. There have been phone calls going from Sydney to New York to London to Bangkok in the past 48 hours as colleagues and friends share their love and memories of you.
You’ll be missed incredibly.
Anne
