Nila

Morgan,
It's hard to believe that you're not around anymore. I used to see you a lot lately... It feels that something's missing here... and I don't know how to cope with that, yet...
Last time I saw him was 2 days before he passed away. We also spoke on the phone the night before he flew to Yogya. It's really unbelievable.
Morgan was very very sweet to me. He was really lovely. Smart, tall, sporty, good sense of humor and good looking. What a combination! He's very relaxed with everything. And he had been very supportive as well and encouraged me to do what I have to do. A guy with a character, indeed.
He travelled a lot while he lived in Indonesia. He tried to go away from the city in the weekends... and surfed ;). It's really good to know that he enjoyed his life to the fullest.
I posted something in my blog, dedicated to you, babe...

xxx,
Nila Tanzil

Despite only knowing Morgan for approximately 7 months - I very quickly realised that he was a man of incredible character, strength, wit, intelligence and charm.

It was only last week that we were driving golf balls and drinking bintang and we expected to see him for dinner with Nila this saturday.

Indonesia is a country full of risk and young expats like myself tend to overlook those risks. It is very sad that Morgan has had to teach us a very important lesson.

We will miss you dearly Morgan. My thoughts are with you and your other family and friends.

Morgan's office was across the hall from ours in Deutsche Bank building in Jakarta. He was a sweet-natured guy who lived life with gusto. Morgan will be greatly missed.

My thoughts are with you Dawn, Lucy, Caroline and Peter. I was so shocked to hear the news of Morgan. As I look through all the photos I can see what a rich and wonderful life he has had. I still remember the bean bags in the TV room at Mosman and his ever present grin. What a fine man he became. In all your sadness you must be so proud of him.
Lots of Love
